The new Medicine Hat Leisure Centre is a family oriented facility slated for spring 1998 construction.

Its orientation is to fulfill a broad range of leisure activities, and will do so with four soccer/rugby/football fields (one of which is a bermed competition/spectator field), four ball diamonds, a multi-purpose dual bulkhead 50 M pool compete with diving tank, water slide and elevating pool floor, a large leisure pool with air tank wave generator, a multi-purpose fitness area, an Olympic sized arena, and many other activity ranges for both now and in the future.
Indoor soccer, indoor tennis, lawn bowling, and even outdoor paddle boats fit the future leisure capabilities of Alberta's latest and most advanced leisure complex.
