Burnaby Ice Sports Complex - Burnaby, British Columbia

In 1997 the Burnaby Four Rinks arena completed a strategic expansion creating Canada's largest ice rink facility. While the intent of the original facility was to cater to the adult safe hockey market (old timers hockey), the expanded facility has become a centre of excellence for a number of primary and secondary skating activities.

The new facility includes a 10,000 square foot training centre for the Vancouver Canucks with dressing facilities, a fitness centre, coaches offices, media rooms, trainers room, players lounges and of course, a dedicated ice pad.

The British Columbia Figure Skating Association is also headquartered at the Ice Sports Complex and one of the rinks is dedicated to figure skating programs. This particular pad has blue coloured rink boards and lacks the typical glazing and ice markings found in hockey-oriented ice pads. Additional amenity space in the complex includes a restaurant, licensed lounge, pro shop, administration offices and a high-performance fitness centre which includes an inalienable ice skating treadmill.
